Greg joined Global Automakers of Canada as its Director of Technical & Regulatory Affairs in February 2016, having previously served six years as regulatory compliance lead for a Canadian Automotive OEM.

Greg is the Association’s technical and regulatory affairs lead on matters related to occupant and road user safety, automated and connected vehicles, vehicle emissions, petroleum and renewable fuels, and alternative energy power-train technologies for light duty vehicles. He also coordinated the association’s Chemicals Management efforts from 2016 through April, 2020.

As the Association lead on automated and connected vehicles (CAVs), Greg is actively involved in the ongoing collaborative development of codes, standards, and best practices that will enable the safe deployment of CAVs in Canada. He sits on the Canadian Standards Association’s Connected & Automated Vehicle Advisory Council and participates actively in a cross-sectoral collaborative effort to develop a Secure Credential Management System for Canada.

Greg is a graduate of Carleton University’s Aerospace Engineering program and has held the designation of Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario for more than 20 years.
